Since 2005 the Ename Center for Public Archaeology and Heritage Presentation yearly has organized a three-day international colloquium. Every time there is a hot topical heritage theme on the agenda and difficult subjects are not avoided. “Climates of Heritage Conservation” indicated that last year’s theme was the consequences of climate change for heritage care with a focus on Public Engagement and Social Innovation. The target public is very broad and consists of heritage professionals and academics as well as policy makers, teachers and other interested parties. Each and every year people from all over the world come to Flanders to join the debate about tomorrow’s heritage.
